Welcome to the Rootschat forum
Is this Kate Sheehan's death registration?

Name -Kate Sheehan
Date of Registration - Sep 1/4 1942
Age at death77 born about 1865
Registration district:    Gort
Vol 4 Page 147
FHL Film number - 101742

Gort is in County Galway but Grenah is in county Cork with a couple of counties between the two

So we now have an approximate birth date for her but of course if Sheehan was her married name we don't know her birth name and her brothers wouldn't be Sheehans. Any male Sheehans would be the brothers of her husband.

There are another two deaths in 1942 for a Kate Sheehan, one in Cork registration district and the other in Macroom in Cork so one of those is possibly the better choice. Do you have her death certificate?

There is a death of a John Sheehan aged 85 in Garryadeen in 1953 occupation Labourer

It's quite possible there was more than one John Sheehan in the area.
