finding my gret great grandfather charles kerr

Any help please
My great great grandmother
Mary Jenkins born 1835 to Charles Jenkins Nd Mary
However she takes on the name of Kurt when her mother remarries
However Mary then has a child Louisa Elizabeth born 1861to Charles Kerr a bookmaker and later a son Charles Kerr 1866
There is no sign anywhere of Charles Kerr her husband
Any help

Which county/state/country?  Even a rough idea might help.

What info. is on census records 1861 onward?

No imhave found a marriage certificate
Louisa was born in Whitechapel county of Middlesex

Charlesvbaptised Stepney London
1871 census shows Mary with Charles and Louisa as head
None for 1861

I don't see births on freebmd for either under any of those surnames Kerr, Kurt or Jenkins.
