http://www.italiangen.org/records-search/births.phpvDo you know when either of them arrived in NY? I don't find either on the 1892 census of Manhattan, as found at familysearch, but that doesn't mean they weren't there.
The 1890 US census is lost to fire, so there aren't a lot of records to find them on anyway. John's birth might be all, for the civil records. There probably are Manhattan city directories available, but I doubt they included the wife's name - even then there could have been more than one Pat and Mary Doyle couple.
Where were her O'Rourkes from? Mine are from South Down.
