I am having difficulties with the last word of a Baptism entry on FindMyPast. Can anyone help, please?

"William son of David JONES of Rhysnant Labourer
By Jane his wife formerly Jane xxxxxxxx"

I have found, in Llandysilio, a 1781 marriage Banns, for a David JONES and a Jane JONES.

I've had a good look but the nearest marriage that I can find is in Denbigh , which is quite a way. Other possibilities are Jane being a widow or the patronymic was used for either or both.

Added - maybe non-conformist but the baptism was CofE/W
