Misplaced information???????
« on: Friday 11 January 19 12:17 GMT (UK) »
Hi All

I'm certain I've seen my ancestor Robert James Burns on the 1891 census somewhere (possibly Middleton in Teesdale, County Durham) with his step father, George Bott.  But I can no longer find them.  I've done every search I can think of, is anyone able to help?

George was born 1852 in Dalbeattie, Scotland
Robert was born 1873 in Dalbeattie, Scotland, both were settmakers in quarries.

Thanks!

My apologies, I realised that I've posted about this previously.

We had a wonderful time in the area around Middleton in Teesdale in the summer, ancestor hunting and bird watching. It is absolutely beautiful. I was paying 2.65 for a pint of beer compared to nearly 4 at home.

My ancestors are probably turning in their graves, not that I can actually find any of them.
