Chippenham Motorcycle Death 1964

Hi all...recently discovering that a family member was killed in a road accident in Chippenham in 1964,I was wondering how I could go about trying to find the article in the local newspapers at the time.Can anyone help please

The best place to start would be the county archives:

They should be able to tell which local newspaper/s might have reported the accident and where copies are held.

The British Newspaper Archive currently doesn’t show anything for Wiltshire after 1959.

Thank you all very much for the swift replies.In my local library you can sit down at the microfiche machines and look at the local papers through the years,i am hoping  ,once I have found which newspaper covered it,that there is a library in Chippenham where I can do the same?   Thanks again

The record office (history centre) is in Chippenham - someone gave a link for it earlier - and they have local papers on microfilm.  Easy free parking and a short walk from the railway station, it's a lovely place to spend a day but if you're making a special journey probably best to enquire in advance in case you need to book a film reader.
