Elizabeth WILSON (Age 1 day) - Parish Church, Kendal - 24 Dec 1843.

The names Elizabeth WILSON are linked to a ongoing investigation of Richard W WARD in the main Forum (Westmorland).
Richard was born to an Elizabeth WILSON on 6 May 1843 in the Kendal Union Workhouse.  Enquiries with the Cumbria Archive Centre reveal that the only Workhouse records held by them is their Death Register.
The Archive Centre found that an Elizabeth WILSON, of Mansergh parish, died on 24 Dec 1845 (ref WCW/30), age 1 day in the Kendal Union Workhouse.  Moreover, the record showed that this Elizabeth, (lets say junior), was buried at the Parish Church, Kendal.
In the absence of a Workhouse death record for an Elizbeth WILSON, (lets say senior) or indeed any other Kendal Workhouse records held by the Archive Centre, I would be grateful to discover the burial record details of a 1 day Elizabeth WILSON in the parish church records, if they exist, to see if there is a link to the two Elizabeths mentioned in the Workhouse

Why not order baby Elizabeth’s death certificate/pdf, which should name her mother as well as stating her place of death?

The death cert for Elizabeth aged 19 should also tell you whether her death was childbirth-related.

Sadly the Elizabeth was not the Elizabeth we (rosie and I) expected.
This one was a School Mistress (hardly a Workhouse guest) and had the wrong father and finally listed place of death as Kendal Union not Kendal Union Workhouse.
From rosie's collection of GRO death records now will book for the pdf of the 0 age Elizabeth.

Regrettably another  failure, the Elizabeth WILSON who died on Christmas Eve 1845 in the Kendal Union Workhouse was the daughter of a Jane Wilson.
