This could be Elizabeths death
Deaths Dec 1881
Bland    Elizabeth    age 45
N. Witchford    3b   355

Why do you think he is not Edward Dunn Bland.  I suspect he could be using the middle names of Dunn & Edwards.  You would need to see the parish register entry for the marriage to Elizabeth for a signature to compare

ADDED Where does the information that he is J Edmond Bland come from

Hiya Rosie99
Im definitely sure his name is J. Edmund Bland, he was a very well known gardener around 1860-1882 his work seems to stop around then; probably your info on Elizabeth's death may explain the reason why. the marriage ties in with the date but not the name, thank you for taking the time to look for me, ill have to do more research into his life

Perhaps the J stood for Joseph, both marriage entries name father as Joseph Bland.

Did he work at Kew Gardens  :-\

ADDED Joseph Bland married Maria Dunn by Licence
