william humphriss/Humphries born about 1806( son of James humphriss and Ann Mander )Warwickshire married Ann?when They had James 1828,Richard 1831,thomas 1833, john1835 Ann died 1839 aged 35 so makes her birth around1804 Have death cert.william marries(2)in southam warwickshire dec 30 1839 aged 34  WIDOWER labourer father James Humphries occ Cooperto Ann PERKINS 28 Spinster servant residence Southam father Abraham PERKINS in presence of william burnell and eliza looks like shearsly they had edward,william, lucy, fredrick,Phoebe. I have not been able to find out what the first Anns maiden name is or their marriage and where I dont think it was Ann Poveywhere can I look thanks lnr

No marriage that I can find but Southam Banns Records are on A……y I looked through 1826 – 1828 but no William & Ann.
Baptism records on A….y start at 1850. I did find the first 3 in a general search and I also noted a tree which lists them and others which I presume from the later marriage.

Baptisms Southam,
James Humphreys 25 Dec 1828
Richard Humphreys 5 Dec 1830
Thomas Humphreys 25 Nov 1832

There is a marriage at Southam
William Humphries and Ann Whitmell  8 Nov 1824.of this parish
wit John Rawbone  and Samuel Goode (verger).

She was baptised Napton on the Hill 22 May 1804
Ann Whitmill d of Joseph and Mary Whitmill with her sister Sarah Elizabeth.
Sister Mary 25.8.1806
Joseph was buried 18.3.1807 at Napton on the Hill.

Ann had an illegitimate son Joseph in 1824 who was buried 18 Feb 1824 age 1 month. Bapt 20.1.1824 Ann was described as a labourer.
After her marriage there are two little girls
Ellen 22.5.1825
Mary  4.2.1827
then the ones you have
plus
John 19.7.1835
Ann  7.3.1837
Elizabeth 3.3.1839 -22.11.1839 Birth reg Dec qtr 1838 mother's maiden name indexed as Whitfield

Thank you for that Have had Ann whitmell down in my notes for a long time but didnt know if it was her or not. This Ann died 27th August 1839 of cancer of the stomach.I will now try and work back if i can and find Ellen,Mary, John and Ann and what happened to them
