From the newspaper, William Smart who's parents stayed in newhills, Late parents of Lilian Maver who resided at 40 Don Street, Old Aberdeen.

trying to find where they stayed after they got married and any other info on their background.

They met at a munitions works in Aberdeen and got married in 1945. Not sure which one as have several listed.

Hi Alan

A William Mavor showed as tenant at: House - 40 DON STREET, OLD ABERDEEN, ST MACHAR WARD. This property was multi occupancy with a number of other tenants livings there also at the time.

He showed there from at least 1925 till 1935, when the online Valuation Rolls on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk currently stop.

There is a marriage showing on Scotlands People in 1920 for a William Maver and a Jane Davidson in Old Aberdeen...a possibility for Lillian's parents?

There is also a birth in 1921 for a Lilian Helen Maver in Old Aberdeen.

A further 4 Maver children births showing in Old Aberdeen between 1922-29.
