I would like some help with my 3rd great grandfather , William Dickson born in Wheldrake YKS . Married Susannah Rymer 13-12-1774 in WHeldrake. He died I presume in Wheldrake in 1823 , They had five children I ave had help with their names . I descend from the eldest William. I'm so curious to know if both families came from that area and who they were , I'd love to know more . Thanks Tip Top.

I’m also descended from William Dickson & Susannah nee Rymer of Langwith, from their son, George.

My records have William’s baptism in Wheldrake in 1747 and his burial in 1833 at Heslington.

They had six children- William, Elizabeth, Mary. Ann, George and Hannah.

William’s parents were John & Elizabeth of Langwith.
