When you say townland I.E. do you mean pettigo I'm in England so we would call it bristol or somerset county etc.

As regards his birth his daughter Anne I think she was born around 1851 so I asumme he was at least 20 years younger. I'll send some other info I got it might be something that you recognise

Edward and Anne's grandchild was born in edrim glebe, granddaughter Mary was born in cottage,

Anne was informant on Mary's birth she was living in Ardnagasson

Edward and Anne remained in Ireland and Arthur and ann and children moved to Glasgow however I think the child born in edrim glebe (John) I believe died before they left.

Not much I know.

Arthur's father was John O'Donnell and I can't even find out who his wife was.

Many thanks hallmark for your time

No.............more like a neighbourhood!

They were both in Fincastle, but is it her homeplace as you mention Killymard which is very near Donegal town ?

I think Arthur was working in fincashel, I believe in one of the big houses, and Anne Slevin was from ardnagasson but she was present when her daughter Ann gave birth to Mary the cottage, I asumme they all went from there homes looking for work, but I was under the impression the Slevin/ Thomas came from killymard donegal
Thanks
