The latest edition of Cairt from the National Library of Scotland Map Library is asking for feedback from regular users of the maps website, gathering information about who is using the site, what their main purposes for doing so are & what they think are the main priorities for improvement.  Available 14 Jan - 25 Feb 2019

In October they added 2800 new maps at 6 in to the mile [1:10560] for extensive parts of Scotland in the post-War period. Especially useful for more remote rural areas where this is the most detailed scale of OS mapping; it includes all their out-of-copyright maps at this scale. They hope to extend the online coverage of this series to England & Wales in early 2019.
