I have been going through reports of railway accidents on the British Newspaper Archive, looking for accidents during the construction of the West Highland Line though picking up some on other Highland lines.

I came across the FAI on the death of  Edward MacDonald who was killed 9 October 1897 at Plockton Age 19.  He is described as being having "belonged to Harris".

I have the report if anyone has any interest in him.
