Margaret Jane Johnson
« on: Friday 18 January 19 20:19 GMT (UK) »
I wonder if anyone could kindly touch up the attached photo.  It is a photo of my grandmother who died in Winnipeg in 1920s of cancer and three of her children one being my father.  All of them are deceased.

There was a black mark on the photo right on Margarets tooth and any other touchups would be appreciated.

Best wishes from a cold Winnipeg where is -32 with the windchill

All of you are so talented.   Thank you so much.

The boy was my father Arthur and this photo was taken in Winnipeg.   The family had immigrated from Sunderland when the eldest Nancy was a baby.   Margaret has one more child and died suddenly of cancer and my grandfather remarried a lady who came over from Sunderland.  I always though she was my dads mother blood wise as no one mentioned Margaret.   It was not deliberate.  I dont think anyone every asked.  Not one of my cousins had heard of her but my dad told me when I started asking questions genealogy wise.   Needless to say that was a surprise.
