Thank you so much for the replies.

I can confirm that yes he died on 18th Feb 1960 in Nottingham.

He was a hairdresser and his son, Claude would also go onto be a hairdresser.

One of the family have a copy of his marriage certificate but I have sent off for the full copy. What I have so far is attached. It shows his fathers name as John.

The marriage certificate shown is a full copy of the Parish register entry; there are no short copies.

The 'death record' shown appears to be a burial record, not a death certificate.
