Frances SEPHTON buried 1724 - COMPLETED
« on: Saturday 19 January 19 08:16 GMT (UK) »
I note that FindMyPast has an image of the burial of ;
Frances SEPHTON in 1724 at Ormskirk, Ss Peter & Paul, Lancashire, England.

Could someone please check that image to see if Frances is the daughter of Edward SEPHTON or the wife of Edward SEPHTON.

The Lancashire OnLine Parish Clerks website show the entry as ;
Burial: 11 Sep 1724 St Peter and St Paul, Ormskirk, Lancashire, England
Frances SEPHTON - Wife of Edwd. SEPHTON
Abode: Scaris[brick]
Register: Burial 1699 - 1743, Page 155, Entry 67
Source: LDS Film 1849663

I am hoping that it is really “the daughter of Edward SEPHTON”. (being Frances baptised 31st May 1724). Because, I have Edward marrying Anne HESKETH on the 29th August 1722 and they had a daughter Ann baptised on the 27th Aug 1732.

Grantley
