hi all , could anyone help with questions i have with attached great grandfathers service history record.
1 what is the words after north irish ? i cannot understand or find any info , perhaps he was stationed there somewhere in the north irish sea
2 what is list and numbers mean in line two.
3 what are the abbreviations meanings in line 3 ?
4 what badges did he have

below North Irish and before Victory I - looks like Minerva

Portmuck Btn (battalion) -Portmuck is in County Antrim, Northern Ireland

The original question 1. was what was after Impregnable, north Irish not mentioned at all.

thanks guys, cant believe its taken me all day doing this so far.
sorry for the confusion Chempat , you are not going mad, i did alter the question when reposted.
portmuck Battalion..... it is thanks.although there is very little about them.
and minerva makes sense with its Ireland connections. although i am not 100% convinced thats what his record says, 5 cf , reading about the minerva it was part of the 11th Cruiser Squadron based in Ireland, but was detached to join the 5th Cruiser Squadron in September,   would 5cf stand for 5th cruiser fleet or floatilla ?
