Philip Grout death details - Middlesbrough

Hi I'm trying to source death record for  Philip Grout.

He was born on 23rd June 1953 in Middlesbrough. Mmn is down as Grout on birth register.

He has a sister Barbara who was born in 1956.

She believes he died approx age 2 1/2 but we cant find a death record.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is no other birth registration fitting that death that I can see
