The Brantford Public Library do charge (a little expensive probably - but wondered if they might have a copy of the book you want) for look-ups but there was a volunteer listed on the RAOGK website for Brant County who did obituary look-ups and cemetery photos - wondered if they might help but never heard any feedback though. They might have newspaper obituaries which would tell you something about William and Janet  ???
