Welcome to Rootschat ragen1965.

I am not sure if there is an actual list but some of the experts on here may know and be able to help when they come online later.

If you are looking for a specific person it would be helpful if you could post his details on here.

A friend as a plaque with the initials G.H and a surname.  The surname looks to have 6 letters the last 3 are lin.  We cannot make out the first 3 .

You could try looking through the 536 records at the National Archives

http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/results/r?_aq=royal%20Scots%20Fusiliers&_ep=long%20number&_dss=range&_ro=any&_p=1900&_st=adv

The Army Lists I believe only do an alphabetical list of all officers, 1000 plus pages!

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

If the plaque is the one issued to the families of dead soldiers, you could search on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission site for men from the regiment who died in 1917.

The only one that seems to fit is 2/Lt Charles Howie Esplin.  (GH could easily be CH).  He was commissioned on 6 March 1919 and doesn't seem to have war service prior to that.   The question is what is the plaque??

As he was an officer, his records are at the National Archives and have to be copied (at cost).

Ragen1965

I think you have visited the site since the posts on 25/26 January?  Any chance of hearing about the plaque?

Not sure this helps Max - Came across anc tree showing a marriage cert for Charles Howie Esplin - 22 January 1916 - St Mary Dundee -  Charles was 25 years old - bachelor - house painter (Corporal 64th Highland Divisional Cycle Corps.
