You are right Sandra.  My date is wrong, commissioned 1919, we are asked to look at 1917.

Can't find a R Scots Fus officer in the 1037 at the National Archives or the 3500+ who died 1916-1918 with last letters LIN and initials GH (easy with ctrl F find)

Ragen1956 - Use the search facility (button along the black line under the Rootschat title), enter "posting photographs" to see the many hints.  Do need to see the plaque.
