What does this date mean?

A headstone in Cahircarcorney Cemetery, Limerick has a strange death date. https://historicgraves.com/cahercorney/li-chcy-100/grave

The transcription reads:
Erected by Margret Kirby in memory of her husband Patrick Kirby who departed this life on the 4 of May 47 AD 34 also his three children. May they rest in peace Amen.

The photo of the actual headstone doesn't show the 47 before AD - perhaps covered by vegetation.

Does anyone know what this date means?

Thanks hallmark, I didn't think of "aged". But the year is a mystery - maybe 1847 ...

1847 looks about right for age of stone....

MaureeninNY and hallmark, thanks for the great finds. Certainly worth following up to see if he had a wife Margaret. The headstone was in Cahircarcorney Cemetery, Frederickstown, which is a fair distance from Limerick City, but you never know :-)
