Great War Medal Roll note
« on: Saturday 26 January 19 11:59 GMT (UK) »
Hi, have a man in the First World War medal rolls for the Machine Gun Corps.  He originally was 7198 in 12th Londons and became 154374 in the Machine Gun Corps.  Both these are correctly typed in sequence of service on the MGC Medal Roll.  However a handwritten note has been added between the two typed entries and although I can make a stab at this myself I'd appreciate some other detached opinions on what these, apparently contracted words, might be.

Thanks ShaunJ, when I extracted this record some years ago that was my interpretation too but obviously it's a bit speculative.  Reassuring that another pair of eyes sees the same thing!  Thanks again.

Hi again ShaunJ.  Have just realised that Ancestry have rephotographed these rolls in better definition colour and this note has become much more legible.  I think it's now pretty clearly rendered as '(attd: R. Innes Fusr).  So thanks again for your input.
