rosie99,
I was thinking that she going to give me more info  by email
I think the Charles Howard & Caroline Stevens is right But the rest  I think is all over the place
Thanks AE

The only way I see is following ( If you agree with Charles b 1880 Kilburn) is follow the Eddlesborough Howard's back?
How anybody can get back to 1771 without any connecton to the Charles & Caroline who ended up in Australia I do not know?!

there's a marriage in Edlesborough, Buckinghamshire for Thomas Howard & Elizabeth Godman 29 March 1771.

James, father of Charles, gave his place of birth as Edlesborough on 1881 census RG11/174 folio 53 pg 43. GRO index for birth of Charles has mother's maiden name of Foster.
James Howard married Anne Forster 9 Oct 1869 in Edlesborough, his father being another James, possible baptism for James senior 7 June 1812 son of Thomas & Ann Howard.

James Howard bp 1812 was the son of Thomas & Ann Howard. in 1851, there's an Ann Howard aged 81 enumerated next to the family of James Howard in Edlesborough HO107/1756 folio 508 pg 35. Her place of birth is given as Eaton Bray so the more likely marriage is Thomas Howard & Ann Taverner 16 June 1803 in Eaton Bray.

These are probably submitted entries to familysearch and really need verifying with parish registers.
