Interesting that there was appeals for the missing Olive but was she ever found ?  I don't think she was the Mrs John Freethy who was greeting the wedding guests of her daughter in October 1964.

Looked for a connection of John and Barbara Freethy to Olive or her daughter but haven't found one.
Another avenue to discount probably.

Obituary for Barbara - Harbour City Star  (Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada)
10 Jul 2002, Wed  - Page 46

Barbara Jane Freethy was possibly Barbara Jane Quennell.
There was an obituary for a Mrs Anna McRae - 17 March 1954 and it quoted two brother Charles and John Quennell and two sisters Mrs Eliza Barlow and Mrs John Freethy. (think that would be Barbara)
Will show obit so that you can see how I arrived at Mrs John Freethy nee Quennell.

In the original post Olive was Olive Clay, where did that information come from - just wondering if there could be any further clues in that surname  - although nothing is popping up at moment ???

Unfortunately that info about Olive was given by a cousin who lived in BC but passed away last year.
