Yes the maiden name of the mother of your father is Francis - also checked several others of the children-- so she was Kathleen Francis.

At the moment I cannot see a marriage for Kathleen D. Francis to an Edward D. Kendrick in Ireland or England. There maybe a mistranscription -- or she may have been married previously and was a widow. She would therefore be married under her married name. Just a thought.
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.

It was definitely my nan’s first marriage.

Yes I think they were possibly married in Belfast.

No names of living people is the only rule

Hi Suzanne,

You seem to have posted marriage names and dates of births of living folk which is against our rules.

Regards

Hi Suzanne

Welcome to Rootschat.

First comment is Reed and Read seem to be documented variations
Do you have names/etc  for all 7 children ?

Suzanne you can go back to your reply and using modify you can then remove their full names  :)
