Can anyone interpret this record in the Birth records for a McSorley child dated 2nd Jan 1842

With ref. to the McSorley family, they had a daughter Jane but certainly no John (if this helps?)

Perhaps just not a child that you've come across yet.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

I have all McSorley burials in one single family grave in Killyclogher, Cappagh Parish. This is more likely to be Jane as there is no John buried here.
