Help identifying Arms on plaque
« on: Sunday 27 January 19 19:49 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
could you please help identify the arms shown in the attachment.  They appear in a painting of the interior of Woodkirk church, West Yorkshire.  I'm lead to believe that the arms are a faithful representation of the original plaque.

Regards,

Janet

Additional information:

The arms and other artwork were revealed after a storm in 1832, which removed part of the nave roof.  The interior church walls had been covered with paneling during the Oliver Cromwell Commonwealth period to stop the artwork being destroyed. Sadly all traces of the artwork no longer exist.
