My try

About six months ago, caught cold on detail
at ?Giasomalina? which was ? ? ? by flying
of the chest, cough, and copious mucio?-???
expectoration. Two months ago, the expectoration
suddenly ceased, since which time he has been
affected with violent palpitation of the heart
and dy??? which incapacitated him for
the duties of th? soldier.

Flying of the chest described fleeting pains in the chest and a feeling of oppression in the chest.
