You can't get .pdf for a marriage, only birth & death.

Just in case your GG Chevreau was the husband of Hendrika SCHOOF , here is his death act  (21 august 1930 Paris 8th arrondissement) and by the way his date and place of birth in France .
This could explain why his death cannot be found in England.

Though it is not mentionned in his 2d marriage "act " Leon was previously married  to Marie Armandine Brosset or Brossot 2 feb 1857 in Ecorcei ( Ecorcey in the past), Orne. No child . She died 2 march 1859 in Saint Martin les Aspres. She was Glove worker
