I brought him out a little.  There's not enough photo data and the focus is bad.  600 DPI is definitely the way to go.

One from me. For some reason, I couldn't get rid of the fine scratches without losing other details. Must be out of practice  :).
Photo restorers may re-use and improve on my posted versions. Acknowledgement appreciated.
