That’ll be fun and a real challenge Kieran, but it won’t be quick and the results will be iffy.

No problem Kieran!  I just hope I can do an acceptable job.  I have one question which I hope isn't out of line.  Is the person in the middle of the couch a lady or a gentleman?  It's difficult to discern with the damage in that area. It appears to me to be a lady, but my wife thinks it's a male and since she's usually right I decided to ask you.  ;)

It is a female wearing a printed dress - and bare/stockinged legs - and possibly specs.

I wouldn't touch this with a 40 foot barge pole, so am also watching to see what can be made of it.   ;)

Oh no!  Me and my big mouth!  :) Thanks for your take.  That's what I was thinking, but she doesn't look happy and I've been working on her for two hours and still very problematic! I've never heard the word "stickinged" until I just used the dictionary, much less how to replicate one! ???

Sorry - have rectified stickinged to stockinged!   Beg your pardon!   ;D ;D

It is the eyes and patience which would run out on me.  Keep going!!!   Looking forward to your results.

And I thought 'Gordon with a Pipe' was bad enough  ;D

It certainly isn't impossible - it will just take a lot of time and patience.

Usually I enjoy repairing photos with cracks and holes but what makes this one especially tricky is the patterned wallpaper and dresses...

Not only that I'd have to reconstruct the face of the middle seated lady (which I'm awful at in case your wondering)

Hmmm I'll have a go at least  ;)
