Looking for information on Arthur John Watson born 1 Jun 1892 in Tamworth, the son of Arthur William Watson & Mary Jane "Jennie" Fairfield. He married Lucy Ann Hopkinson 9 Aug 1919 in Sheffield, St Silas, Gilcar, Yorkshire. Arthur John Watson became a Mechanical Engineer in 1913. He served as Administrator of his mother's will of 1953. Unable to find what became of him, his wife, and if they had any children. Anyone know of this family?

There is no marriage in 1919 on freebmd between a Watson & a Lucy Hopkinson.  There is one to a Lucy Armes

Lucy A Hopkinson married Lionel V Armes in Sheffield in 1915 so was a widow when she married Arthur.  Lionel died 26.10.17 in WW1

Rootschat does not allow information from the 1939 register to be given apart from what is available on the free index.  We have no knowledge of what subscription site you belong to when we answer a query.  If you have FindMyPast access you should be able to find the entry by putting in his full date of birth and just his surname

Have 1939 register record and found what I believe to be his death and will in Surrey. Believe he died in 1958. Will proved London 1959. Had a career change and went into the Commercial Auto business shortly before WW2.

I do not know what happened to his wife Lucy. By the time of his death had was married to a woman named Mary Florence ____.

1958 death reg plus Will  only refer to him as Arthur.  There is a 1939 entry in Surrey matching that death and widows name so not your Arthur
