The private memorial marking the grave no longer provides Sergeat Collis with adequate commemoration.  The CWGC is in the process of producing a new heastone to mark his grave.


Commonwealth War Grave Commission are searching to locate the next of kin for of Sergeant William Logan Colls - Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve - Service No 758029 - address was The Oaks Salhouse Norwich.

Burial South Cerney - (All Hallows) Churchyard. 9 August 1940

William Logan Colls born 1920 was buried South Cerney Gloucestershire.
William L Colls - maiden name of mother - Spencer - registered Norwich March 1920 - 4b390

William had a brother - John Archibald Colls born 1913 Norwich - passed away 2008 Norwich.

John A Colls married Barbara E Buckingham - 4b 105 - Smallburgh Norfolk.

There was a birth in 1945 - Acle Norfolk for a male Colls another male at Aldershot in 1947 (not sure about this one)
