Thanks very much for this information. His sister Clarice was my grandmother, whom I had a great relationship with. She never spoke of any other family, hence me trying to find out a bit about her brother.

I had previously found that she had a brother from some research I did on this site about 5 years ago. I also know details of her parents from the 1911 census (again from this site).

So Cyril had a son who sadly died at age 6 and I wonder if there were any other children.

Possible death for his 2nd wife: Cecilia Frances Harding, born 1 Dec 1915, death reg Plymouth Feb 2000.

Thanks very much. I think they stayed in Bristol and the age ties in for Bessie dying in 1925.

My only avenue left to explore for me now is whether Cyril had any further children with either his first wife Phyllis or his second wife Cecilia Frances Harding? Any comments or help in resolving this would be brilliant.
