Please help identify Penny Warlod, Llanigon
« on: Sunday 03 February 19 16:16 GMT (UK) »
On the 1841 census for Llanigon, Breconshire, George Cole, was one of six labourers in the household of Jane Farr, with a residence name of Penny Warlod.  A check on the 1851 census for Llanigon reveals Jane Farr, widow, farming 500 acres employing 6 labourers.  Can someone please help identify the residence Penny Warlod, could it be the name of the farm?  Appreciate any help.

The chambered tomb is not at Llanigon, it is nearer to Talgarth so not the same site. Penywyrlod is not an unusual name in Wales so easy to confuse sites.
