Will of Ralph Lock
« on: Monday 04 February 19 19:25 GMT (UK) »
Hi All

Again I'm hoping someone can work their magic with this will for Ralph Locke from Moulton dated 1665.

A lot of this one is quite readable even by me with my very limited abilities :-)

The part I'm really struggling with though is the name of Ralph's (Rafe) daughter it looks like "Also" but that can't be right. And the Latin part at the end

Again any help with this would be extremely gratefully received.

I think his daughter’s name is Alse (Alice). The final letter isn’t an ‘o’ it’s an ‘e’.

Again many many thanks for help with this one. Not been on computer for a while so not had chance to reply.

The Alse (Alice) now makes perfect sense I know Ralph had a daughter Alicia b.1623 so it must be referring to her.

Thanks again
