looking for info on George and Maria Blace.

children. George jr., Michael, Catherine, Sarah, Mary Ann, Rebekkah, Samuel B.

George b abt 1823 France
died. about 1866 Iowa, USA

also lived in Ontario, Canada

Maria. b. about 1835 New York State, their son George was born in Ontario...July 1850

I assume you are looking for info about George & Maria going back from Iowa and that you have the information on the children going foward?

====

Food for thought

A couple things have caught my eye.
In the 1860 census the closeness in age between Mary and John is only 13 years? Is she the mother?
Also sons John & George are listed as being born in Canada West.  Son Michael in Iowa?.

But in the 1870 census and those after, son Michael is listed being born in Canada also.

I think Mary(Marie) may not have been the mother of all those children and George was married previously?

This 1851 Canada West census caught my eye. It has a George of about the right age with sons named John, George & Michael about the same ages listed for the children in following censuses. He is married to an Eve and his POB is listed as the Netherlands.

1851 census: http://www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/census/1851/Pages/item.aspx?itemid=127157
Lines 34-38: http://data2.collectionscanada.gc.ca/1851_pdf/e095/e002366542.pdf

Could this be George & Eva's marriage?

Marriage: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q2C1-KBHR

Lots of coincidences with names, places and ages??

i noticed it too. it was the age diff that caught me off guard.esp with maria being b. in 1834-5 i think and George being b in 1851 she was really really young having kids there...which perhaps was normal back than..but still strange
