How old is this photo? it could be my ancestor Doris Mallett

I am trying to identify the person in this photo and was wondering if anyone can tell me how old they think it is. I suspect it could be my ancestor Doris Mallett b. 1899 in Norwich but was wondering if anybody else thinks that date looks right? Any help would be appreciated.

I suspect your guess is pretty good.  Looks like early 1900s to me - but I am no expert.

John W Gavin was at 85 St Giles Street, Norwich in 1901 but not in the previous two censuses or the next one.

Local Directories have him at the Giles Street address 1896-1904. I assume that the 1904 directory was printed before he died.

Thank you very much for your help. I can't find much else about the studio myself. If the studio was only open from 1894-1904 then that would fit with the photo being taken around 03/04. Doris would've been aged 4 or 5 which looks right to me.
