Hoping someone can help me again - I have two queries 

1. Where are the Elliott family in 1861?

1851 2g/2466/455/9 as Elliot - John 1823 Ireland, Jane 1819 Ireland, Margaret 1844 Ireland, James 1848 Newcastle and John 1850 Newcastle (Margaret married in 1864 Newcastle)

2. What is Jane's maiden name - tried looking on GRO for birth of James and John but can't find a match

I had a look at birth records for James Elliott and John Elliott but none of the mmn were the same

Have you ruled out a 2nd marriage?

If this was the case the children would still be listed by relationship to John (assuming he's 'Head')?

There are two Margarets marrying in 1864 - Elliot and Elliott.
Who did Margaret marry?
Who were the witnesses?
