St. Patrick's.

While you make enquiries at the local record or archive office about the marriage license find out if John Lombardini left a will, he died between 1851 and 1861 census. He may name his  male relative as executor.

Thanks for all your help. Turns out they didn’t hold the marriage license application. I’ll try Borthwick.

The Bond and/or Allegation for this marriage have survived.  They are housed at the Borthwick Institute in York - https://www.york.ac.uk/borthwick/

Added:  order form -  http://www.york.ac.uk/borthwick/remote-services/copying/order-form

There is no evidence that he made a will.  Again records are housed at the Borthwick.

Thanks for all your help!
I’ll try Borthwick for the license application.

Hi Gibel,
I’ve been in lengthy conversation with the man who wrote the Huddersfield Exposed page and he said he made the assumption between the two being brothers but didn’t actually have any info proving it.  Thanks for all your help!

I’ll think I’ll close this topic as I believe (as Will is godfather of John’s children- from new info) William is related to John.
Thanks for all your time and help- I really appreciate it.
