Attestation papers to serve in the Royal Marines at Portsmouth 1854 (when aged 18).
Discharged 1876 as Length of service

Although you may have noted that these records have not been digitised sot they will not be found on line anywhere.  A visit to Kew or copying is the only way to see them.  Certainly a 22 year career would seem worth looking at as Drosybont indicates.
