Poplar Cemeteries/Cremations 1890-1930 HELP PLS
« on: Thursday 07 February 19 22:48 GMT (UK) »
Hi All

First post, so forgive my naivety.

My grandfather was orphaned at aged 14, in 1928 in Poplar.   All his parents/grandparents etc seemed to have lived and died within the Poplar, Greenwich, Wansworth area - I have found many birth, marriage and death records, but i cannot find any burials/grave/cremation listings for ANY of them?

The family would have been poor, I am waiting for a response from Friends of Tower hamlets Cemetery, and also from Brookwood Cemetery (as it seems alot of the poor were took here) but in the meantime, can anyone suggest of where i can search further to try to find them please.

EDITED TO INCLUDE THE PERSONS I AM SEARCHING FOR:
1. WILLIAM RIDER 1834-1909 Died Wandsworth (Found burial record at Tooting Graveney Cemetery via Ancestry
2. Harriett Rider (nee LENDEN) 1836-1890  Died Wandsworth
3. WILLIAM LENDEN RIDER 1861-1923  Died Seamans Hospital, Greenwich
4.Anne Mary Rider (nee HALLOWS) 1863-1923 Died 12 Vesey Street, POPLAR
5.WILLIAM LENDEN THOMAS RIDER 1884-1915 Died Poplar (as a result of the Princes Irene boat disaster) http://www.wessexwfa.org.uk/articles/princess-irene.htm
6. MAUD HARRIET RIDER (Nee DAVEY) 1885-1928

ALSO - interested in any RIDER, DAVEY, HALLOWS that may be connected to my family tree.
