Until I found this site I had no info on Charles family. What I have since been sent by all of you seems to tie in perfectly. What you just posted has the details which fit the other info I have been sent
Thank you so much

Sorry just saw your earlier post. I have no knowledge of Charles family he was born into. He had children with Caroline Britnell in NZ

Sarah Emma Swan
18551952

Lois Swan
18581941

Edward James Swan .
18601925

Alice Swan .
18611945

Edith Swan .
18631906

James Swan .
18661928

Emily Swan .
18661946

Martha Swan .
18681954

William Swan .
18711902

Edit

Charles Swan .
18741959

This list does not check out against NZBDM

Here are NZBDM results
1874/18556   Swann   Charles   Caroline   Charles
1871/23740   Swann   William   Caroline   Charles
1868/20693   Swan   NotRecorded (Martha?)   Caroline   Charles
1866/17106   Swan   Emily   Caroline   Charles
1866/17109   Swan   James   Caroline   Charles
1863/5701   Swann   Edith    Caroline   Charles
1861/9639   Swann   Alice   Caroline   Charles
1860/3596   Swan   Edward   Caroline   Charles

Caroline married John Garret in 1852?

Sarah Emma Swan b1855 <------Was her birth registered anywhere in NZ or AU? Or have you sighted her original baptism?

Lois Swan b 1858  <------Was her birth registered anywhere in NZ or AU? Or have you sighted her original baptism?

Without these documents both these girls may have been John Garrets daughters and he may have died between 1858 and 1860?
