The marriage of Daniel Parkinson 1850 Garstang was not to a Mary Green but to a Dorothy Thuxton.  (although he was a cotton spinner, son of Richard Parkinson, labourer).

Heywood,
none of the census show the address Deal St, I am happy with what I have researched for the family, just Daniel has been the brick wall

Louisa’s birth might help. Hopefully born in Deal Street. Unless they just gave the address for baptism.

Amy Parkinson b 1857 mmn Hindley

That will be Emma’s birth. It is odd that she wasn’t baptised with the others in 1865.

Do you have Jane Ann’s birth?

As far as I can see, the birth of Amy/Emma is the first Parkinson/Hindley. Children born after this birth are registered as that.

Thanks Heather.
I was fairly sure that was Emma so maybe not  :-\

They are both quite common surnames so that could be a different family and only birth certificates or baptism records would confirm the family.

I think that the Catholic records with late baptisms are likely to be the family but temper seems to think they are not. The birth dates given, however, do not fit. :-\

I have asked if Jane Ann’s birth record has been found.

I have been looking on and off and have seen some tenuous records but nothing which could be deemed a possibility.

Going back to Amy/Emma, I just noticed that in 1881 her birth is shown as ‘Orford Road’ which I would think is Oxford Road.
If so, then this would fit with the registration district Chorlton.
