It would of been late 50's more likely 57/58. I don't know if he would of needed additional care I only had vague stories of my granddads side of his family from my grandmother who always told me she'd met him a few times and he was a lovely man. We think he went by bobby more than robert but my search for that name comes up short too. Again we think the W is for William as it's a family name but I will hopefully know when his birth certificate comes :)

Oh ok i haven't found that record will search that now I found one where it was mary j gray and she was a boarder.

Yeah the boarder I have is 1899 birth year if this is right for 1901 then she wasn't 18 when she married my great grandfather which is what it says on the marriage certificates. I wish my granddads side of the family were as organised as my grandmothers  ;D

As chempat says, you need to look for the one whose birthdate is entered as 2 November “1901”, even though we know she was actually born on 2 November 1899.
