LONG Family
« on: Sunday 10 February 19 20:03 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

I'm doing research for my friend on his family history.

His surname is Long which is also his mum's maiden name.

His grandad passed away in 2017 - George Long,
His GGrandad passed away in 1976 - William Long, (Knutsford)

I just wondered if there is anyone who knows anything about the family history? My friend said they are from Knutsford/Wales/Devon etc..

It would be really cool to find out any stories for him.

Thank you :)

Quite a common name - you will need to do some research on this family!

In my own family tree, I have Longs - all from Wiltshire.
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

If you know their birth days you can look them up on the 1939 register it will show where they are living and with whom provided they are now deceased.
