Have been going though your finds and with the 3 baptisms confirms the children etc, also now have the birth reg for Amelia and Henry on Gov Records giving the mother's surname as Leming, the only doubt I have is the marriage given by Margaret, Henry's father was called George and he was a farmer in 1861 having 34 acres of land, his wife (Henry's mother) was called Clara Pearce.
Also Henry was just a constable in 1881, did he leave the police force to join the coldstream  Guards and a Corporal at that, then back to the police force by 1891. Have just had a look at the 1871 census and cannot quite make out the occupation could be Farrier or Farmer but still living in Pilning.

Thanks for your help

Very likely, thank you Kay, but why do they have to change their names around to keep us on our toes!

Surrey, England, Church of England Marriages, 1754-1937

Image rechecked for marriage - could possibly say Farmer for occupation of Harry's father, but looks more like Farrier to me, and the name is definitely Henry.
