How kind of me is that !!!!
ok they have been dead for hundreds of years
But today I gave a grandaughter the name of her grandmother... of which it seems she had no idea -
That is only me guessing that she knew nothing of her Gran - but it did make me stop for a while and wonder.
the Gran and her family lived and resided in Leicestershire.. but she was born Derbyshire.. I know not too far away.. but not next door
anyway - it was just a passing fancy
to think that I may not be as selfish in my need to complete one branch/unit and find the unknowns still births - illegitimate - and previous 3 dead one survived.. names....
it does make me feel that there is then an acknowledgement of that persons life whether it was a minute or 100 yrs...
back at it.
Mary that I am researching today married John and had 3 children.. 1 maybe two being Johns!?? poor John died early and one of the girls spent her life in Carlton Hayes... One of the children died at 15 and the Male child moved to Derby... still working him
